Upon supervision, microscopically evaluate all types of specimens submitted, recognize abnormalities identified and render and inform diagnosis to the cytopathologist for consideration. Prepare cytologic specimens for evaluation using established procedures, perform appropriate recordkeeping procedures and fulfill the duties of the cytopathology supervisor during that supervisor's absence.
